To configure your eBooking 'rules' to suit your clinic, navigate to

  • Settings > Scheduling > Extra Tab

Patient can change appointments - if enabled, patients can change their appointment (reschedule) after it has been booked using eBooking.

Patient can cancel appointments - If enabled, patients can cancel their appointment after it has been booked using eBooking.

Display Presenting Issue Selection (eBooking) - If enabled, the presenting issue selection page will appear within eBooking for the patient to select a reason for their visit. See the help article for more details on Creating Presenting Issues.

Request Appointment Time Changes (range of 0 to 35 days notice) - this allows you to set how much notice your patients must give to reschedule their appointments.


Patient Cancellations (range of 0 to 35 days notice) - if you have online cancellations enabled, this allows you to set how much notice your patients must give when cancelling their appointments.

Verify Existing Patients (yes/no) - we recommend keeping this on. This allows the e-booking portal to verify the specific patient against existing patients in your database.

Show Map and Address on Appointment Letter - if enabled, the patient is able to see the map and address of the location their appointment is booked at on the e-booking portal.

Provider's Identity Display option - if the patient is selecting a provider to book the appointment with when using eBooking, this determines how the provider’s information will be displayed (Name or Initial / Avatar / Name or Initial with Avatar).

Enable "Skip Qnaire for Now" (eBooking) - if enabled, a button appears on the pre-visit Qnaire dialogue box allowing the patient to skip the pre-visit qnaires.
