πŸ’₯ IMPROVEMENTS πŸ’₯

A list of all the cool things we have added to our platform!

Sex and Gender Identity Updates πŸš€

We have changed the name of one of our core data points, Gender. It is now labeled Sex and contains the same values as before: Male, Female, and Other.

Also, we added a Gender Identity to the patient's chart. There are many options to better describe a patient's gender: Male, Female, Transgender Male, Transgender Female, Non-Binary, and Prefer to describe. Choosing the last option allows for free text to better describe the patient's gender identity.

This can be found in both Patient Data and the Update Patient section of their chart. This change will not have any effect on the ebooking login process. The patient will still be required to choose their sex.

However, any new patients signing up for the clinic will be prompted for their Sex and Gender Identity.

Default Prescription Location πŸ—ΊοΈ

We understand that there are sites that are made up of multiple locations. Some multi-location sites require the same location information is on every prescription while other sites require that their location information is listed. We've got you both covered!

Account owners now have the option of setting a default location for all prescriptions in the clinic. Every other user has the option of setting their default for their prescriptions. This setting can be found in Settings > Prescription. As a regular user, you will not see the option for setting a location for the entire clinic.

If a user has the My Prescription Location set, then it will override the choice made in Account Prescription Location.

Vitals to Include More Data πŸ’“

We have added a couple of new options into Vitals located in Patient Data. We now allow you to enter the info below:

  • BP ARM (Left or Right)

  • BP POSITION (Sit, Stand, or Lay)

  • HC (Head Circumference)

  • WC (Waist Circumference)

This information will be available in Patient Data and for entry in the Vitals section in Encounters. For Growth Charts, the HC will flow back and forth from the Growth Chart and Patient Data.

Zoom Option for Hours Creation πŸ“†

We have added a zoom option for Standard and Flex schedules so that you can more accurately add your hours.

You now have four different percent views with a corresponding time increment on the left-hand side:

  • 50% : 1 Hour

  • 100% : 30 Minutes

  • 200% : 15 Minutes

  • 300% : 10 Minutes

PDF Preview for Lab Files πŸ‘οΈ

When using the Export Patient Chart feature you now can preview what the lab file will look like. When you are in the Lab tab, you should see an eye icon next to the lab file. Clicking this allows you to view what the PDF of this will look like.

This way, you will be sure of exactly what you are sending out before generating the final PDF.

Ontario IDs now allows entry of the Version Code πŸ†”

When a patient signs up for your clinic from either the ebooking site or the patient portal, they now have the option of including their version code. This is only available for Ontario Health Card Numbers.

Once a patient is in their final steps of registering their info to your clinic, if they choose the Ontario ID option, they will see an example ID along with a place for their version code.

The Card Number portion is required, however, the Version Code is not.

This will only change when patients are initially registering for your clinic and not for when they need to log in using their ID. So when a patient wants to log into ebooking, we will only require their ID to be entered (no Version Code needed).

πŸ› πŸ”¨ BUG FIXES πŸ› πŸ”¨

This is a list of bugs we have identified and fixed in this release. Should you want any more detail on the issues below, please feel free to message us!

  • Group Visits were blocking out time in ebooking. This made it seem as though there was no availability for some practitioners on certain days.

  • Customization of Virtual Visit Custom notifications was not being saved after being customized.

  • Ending a Virtual Visit call from the practitioner's side would still leave the call on for the patient. Now, no matter who ends the call, it will end on both sides.

  • When entering an Injection using a template, no Lot number could be entered. It is now a free text area if no lot numbers have been set up beforehand, and a drop-down if lot numbers have been set up already.

  • When accessibility was turned on for Encounters, no one could gain access. After being prompted to put in their reason for entry along with their password, the user would be presented with a continual loading screen. This should no longer occur.

  • Third-Party Insured billing templates would have totals that were off when deleting billing items. The billing item would be removed but the total that includes that item would not change.
