Quick Fax and Print to Include Cover Pages

There are multiple sections within a patient's chart where you have the option of quickly printing or faxing a document. These sections include Prescriptions, Forms, and Letters. When you clicked on the Print Signed or Fax Signed button, it would generate the document as is, however, some documents require or would benefit from a cover page.

We now allow for cover pages to be added to both of those options. If your default PDF settings are set to allow a cover page, then it will be added automatically along with applying certain data points automatically. This would include all patient data points, the current date, current user information, and others.

To access your PDF settings you can generate a PDF anywhere in the system. You may be presented with the pop below. If you are not presented with it, you will need to click on the โš™๏ธicon in the top right of the generated PDF.

You will need to have the Cover Page selected and the PDF settings will have to be saved by clicking the prompt at the bottom. Once this is done, you will see the cover page added to your printout and quick faxes automatically.

Prescription Frequency Additions

We have added some new Frequency options for when you are prescribing medication. These new frequencies include Every 2 weeks, Every 3 weeks, Every 4 weeks, Every 10 weeks, Every 12 weeks, and Every 3 months.

These additional frequencies will allow physicians to better and more accurately calculate the quantity of medications needed.

Primary ID for Notifications

We have added clinics the ability to send the patient's Primary Identification through their notifications. To access this, you can navigate to Settings > Notifications and edit a notification just as before. Now when you go to add a variable, Patient Identification will be an option.

A good use case of this is for clinics that may want to use autogenerated IDs for their patients. This could then be included within the notification so the patient can use this for logging into ebooking.

Tooltip for Common buttons in the Patient Chart

To increase visibility and allow you to have a better idea of what button you are pressing, we have added some tooltips for when you hover over buttons in the patient's chart.

We have added it to the most frequently used button: Dashboard, Flowsheets, Summary, and Internal Message.

Separation of Appointment Cancellation and Change Settings

Before this update, we bundled the Change and Cancellation settings for appointments. You would only be able to allow or not allow both. With the separation, you can now allow cancelations but not appointment changes, or vice versa!

The setting can be found in Settings > Scheduling > Extra. Just as before, you can also modify the number of days that a patient is able to give notice of their cancellation or appointment change.

  • Improved Preferred Pharmacy selection in the patient's chart along within Qnaires.

  • Improved Contact Searching. We had many niche cases where the contact would not appear. This has been resolved ๐Ÿ™Œ

  • Bullet points in Qnaires should work as intended now.

  • Referral made from Forms with referral data attached would not have the referral data save unless manually saved. This has been improved to save without manual intervention.

  • Instant variables would print weird data in encounters when not used. This only happened with a very particular configuration.

  • You can make your title None, should you not need one.

  • When generating PDFs, the location was in the top right was defaulting the Primary Location of the account. This has been updated to pull the user's location unless specified otherwise.
