Recurring Appointment Improvements πŸ”

Our first release of Recurring Appointments was to get a basic version out so that we could make lives a little easier when booking many appointments. However, you were very limited in how you could book these recurring appointments.

We now have more comprehensive customization options when booking Daily, Weekly, and Monthly appointments. Additionally, you can now book up to 104 appointments in a single attempt, a major step up from our 20 limit before.

Security Settings For Account Owners πŸ”‘

We have added a new security setting for clinics to only allow certain I.P. addresses to access their instance of InputHealth.

Trusted IP Address Ranges setting

Once you have added a trusted IP address, anyone trying to access InputHealth will need to be on a network with that address or they will see this screen:

This new setting, along with a couple of other account settings can be found under Settings > Security > Account. However, only the account owner can see this. In most cases, InputHealth will be the account owner. Click on the image below to read more on the Account Owner Security Settings!

Ebooking On Holidays πŸŽ„

Prior to this update, it has not been possible for patients to book appointments through ebooking when the day fell on a holiday. We are introducing Holiday Exemptions for practitioners so that each practitioner can choose if they do or do not want to work on a Holiday.

You can navigate to Settings > Scheduling > Hours and click on the new Edit button. This now houses your Standard, Flex, and Holiday schedules. Clicking on Holidays will allow you to add specific Holidays from the template you have chosen for your clinic.

This is a list of bugs we have identified and fixed in this release. Should you want any more detail on the issues below, please feel free to message us!

  • We fixed a niche case when signing an encounter would fail when the user did not have a signature set up and there was also an unsigned prescription present.

  • Could not cancel prescriptions when one of the medications did not have an end date.

  • We will now be using the patient's gender identity to set their avatar if they do not have a picture there.

  • Patient Search should work when a patient has two last names.

Scheduled time of update: Evening of September 8th, 2020

No preparation is required by site users in advance of the update. All CHR update activities are managed by InputHealth via a zero downtime rolling deployment in the CHR’s cloud infrastructure, which allows the system to operate without interruption of service during updates.

No data migration will be required as part of this update.
