Historic Billing 💵
We now allow you to view the past 10 bills you have created for a patient and easily select them to bill again! This is incredibly useful for clinics that want to get an overview of a patient's billing without leaving the bill. It also allows you to easily bill old claims for patients (Useful for office visits that have the same billing and diagnostic codes)
To access this feature, you can go into the bill for a patient. This can be done from their Insured Billing section, Encounter, or the Visit Screen. Once you are creating the bill you will notice the history icon.
This will only show you the latest billing items for that template. So if the patient has been billed for a custom third party billing template or a different provincial billing template, they will not show. Additionally, it will only show the bill made by the practitioner.
Autofill Past Diagnosis Code for Billing 👩⚕️
We now have the ability to auto-fill the last diagnostic code used for a patient's bill on any new bills. This is extremely useful when you typically will use the same diagnostic over and over again for a patient.
This also allows you to see what past codes were used without having to navigate to their past billing.
To access this new setting, you can navigate to any patient's chart and go into their Insured Billing section. Once there, you will hit the cog/gear ⚙️ icon near the top right of the screen. This will show you all of your billing settings. From there you can select Fill Diagnosis codes from the latest billing item of this patient.
If there were multiple diagnosis codes used, it will put all of them on each billing item.
2FA For Patients 🔒
We have made security changes to our ebooking login. If a patient wants to login to your clinic's ebooking site, they will now be prompted to provide their email or phone so that they can receive a code.
They will need to enter the code in the prompt after hitting the Login button. The code they are sent expires after 30 minutes.
2FA Code Extension 🔑 ✉️
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) allows you to add an additional layer of security to your account login. Currently, the code sent to your email or phone would be active for 5 minutes. Some users were having trouble accessing the email version of the code in time.
We have extended the timeout to 10 minutes for email codes only.
Faxing Remembers Recipient Type 🕵️♀️
When you are sending faxes within InputHealth you have the option of sending to a Contact or to a Facility. You can choose who you want to search at the time of sending by changing the drop-down here:
However, in some cases, you might want to continue to search for a contact or a facility. Such an instance would be when you are faxing multiple prescriptions. In most cases, you will want to fax a facility and not a contact. This would save you two clicks every time you go to search for the appropriate pharmacy.
🐛 🔨 BUG FIXES 🐛 🔨

Some folders in the Summary View would always expand, no matter if you turned auto-expand off.
Performing a virtual visit on ChromeOS would not allow you to hover over the start camera button.
OHIP Version code was not included in the Patient Header on Encounter and Letters.
Users marked with no Inbox would still appear as options to associated Qnaire responses to on the POC app.
License Numbers were not able to be changed on Prescription when done in an Encounter.
When medications had no start or end date, the prescription they were associated with was unable to be canceled.
A select group of Encounters was unable to be signed due to a text sanitization issue.

No preparation is required by site users in advance of the update. All CHR update activities are managed by InputHealth via a zero-downtime rolling deployment in the CHR’s cloud infrastructure, which allows the system to operate without interruption of service during updates.
No data migration will be required as part of this update.
