πŸ’₯ IMPROVEMENTS πŸ’₯

A list of all the cool things we have added to our platform!

Inbox Lab Improvements πŸ“ƒ

InputHealth is set up to receive electronic lab results from Excelleris BC and ON. Before this update, lab files would come in multiple times because they were not the final result. This would create inbox items with some duplicated information.

We have improved how these labs interact with our inboxes. Files will still come in as they are received, which could be partial lab results. However, if any new lab results come in, the inbox item will reappear as unread and the new results will be present. This will make it so there are not multiple inbox items for one incoming lab.

On the lab results, you will see a replaced icon in the top right corner along with a label stating the lab is complete, partial, or deleted.

Enforce SSO πŸ”’

When SSO is enabled, the user has the option of signing in with their regular InputHealth email and password or with their Single Secure Login.

Now you can enforce that it's only the SSO option at login - User can sign in with SSO ONLY.

  • This applies to all users (except the account administrator/ account owner).

  • Areas in the CHR that require a password confirmation (i.e. changes to certain settings) will still require the CHR password.

  • Enforce SSO removes the Two Factor Authentication options from Settings > Security for regular users, as these are no longer applicable when using SSO.

Enforce SSO can be configured in Settings > Single Sign-On. At the top, you will see the new Enforce SSO option.

Enabling Enforce SSO will cause the "forgot password button" to no longer be present. The areas in the platform that require you to enter your InputHealth password (certain changes to settings) will still ask for your InputHealth password

NOTE: This setting must be enabled on the backend by InputHealth. Once enabled, only the Account Owner will see the Enforce SSO option in their domain.

Forgot Password Updates πŸ”‘

When requesting that your password be updated, we show you exactly where the email will be sent to.

πŸ› πŸ”¨ BUG FIXES πŸ› πŸ”¨

This is a list of bugs we have identified and fixed in this release. Should you want any more detail on the issues below, please feel free to message us!

  • Group Visits with large patient counts would timeout when trying to update any part of the visit. Now you can update to your heart's content!

  • Dr. Bill would require a user to reintegrate their account. We now take care of this automatically.

  • Lab data would get cut off when generated as a PDF. This happened for long lab results but is now fixed.

  • Deleting a Location would cause some standard schedules to be inaccessible. This should be fixed.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» Known/Residual Bugs πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»

This is a list of known bugs that we have not quite gotten to but haven't forgotten about. Please reach out if you have any questions about this list!

Scheduled time of update: Evening of November 17th, 2020

No preparation is required by site users in advance of the update. All CHR update activities are managed by InputHealth via a zero-downtime rolling deployment in the CHR’s cloud infrastructure, which allows the system to operate without interruption of service during updates.

No data migration will be required as part of this update.
