To be approved, all bills require a diagnosis code. The diagnostic codes that you add under the Assessment and Plan section of your encounter can be automatically added to any bills you create within that encounter.

Steps

1. Go to an open (unsigned) encounter and click the gear icon at the bottom of your screen.

2. Your encounter settings open. Turn on the sync feature between your encounter and billing items.

3. Click Save and refresh your browser to apply these changes.
