When you search for a facility to fax a document to or when you search for a facility in the Contacts area (for example, to edit a facility), there are a number of ways to search. This is handy if you don't know the facility name, or if you don't know what facility a certain contact (individual) is linked to.
To choose what information you want to search by, in the drop-down beside the search field, select an option.
The following table outlines when to use each search option.
To search by any of the facility's information (for example, the address or city), select this option.
To search by the name of a contact (individual) who is linked to the facility, select this option.
To search by the facility's fax number, select this option.
To search by the billing number of a contact (provider) who is linked to the facility, select this option.
💡 Tip: This is handy if a provider works out of multiple facilities and has a unique billing number at each facility. If you don't know what facility a billing number is for, you can search for the facility by the billing number.
To search for facilities that have at least one contact with a certain occupation (for example, if you want to search for a list of "lawyer" offices), select this option.
o search by the facility's name, select this option.
💡 Tip: When you're searching for a facility, if the facility you want isn't showing in the search results, make sure you spelled the name correctly.
