Improvements
Improved Inbox status filtering
In your Inbox, when you switch from the Done status filter to Active or Snoozed status, the system now automatically clears the default 7-day date filter, ensuring you see all your current items without unexpected filtering.
Facility name now visible for selected referring practitioners and family doctors
When adding or editing a patient, in the New Patient or Update Patient window, the selected Family Doctor and Referring Practitioner now displays the facility name and the provider's occupation or medical specialty in addition to the provider name and billing number. Previously, you could only see this detail during your search, but now it remains visible after selection, making it easier to verify you've chosen the correct contact.
Additionally, if the provider you're looking for doesn't appear in your contacts list, click +New contact at the bottom of the search results to add a new one. This button was previously labeled +New Physician.
CHR Connect is now TELUS Health Connect
📌Note: The name change will be visible to patients once they update to the latest version of the app. The update is expected to be available in the app stores within the next few days.
We've updated the name of CHR Connect to TELUS Health Connect. This change only affects the mobile and web app name – your patients' experience and all features remain the same.
We are releasing this change in phases. Your patients will see the new TELUS Health Connect name in their mobile and web app, as well as any notifications. In a future release, you will see the new name throughout the CHR interface.
Qnaire missing translation indicators
If you have French enabled in your CHR, when creating or modifying bilingual Qnaires, you can now easily identify which content still requires translation. An orange background highlights any Qnaire names, descriptions, questions, or answer options that haven't been translated yet and temporarily shows content from the source language.
When you hover over highlighted content, a tooltip shows which language it’s displaying from. Once you add or edit content in a highlighted field, the orange indicator automatically disappears. This makes it easier to manage and complete Qnaire translations.
Streamlined new patient creation
When adding a new patient, the New Patient window no longer shows the Archive tab, Merge Patient tab, Patient Chart button, or XML button, as these features are only relevant after a patient has been created.
Ontario: Refreshing OntarioMD import and export lists
If OntarioMD import and export is enabled for your clinic, when you are in Settings > OntarioMD, whether you are in the Import or Export tabs, you can now refresh the list of jobs without leaving your current view. Click the refresh icon in the top-right corner to update the page quickly.
This eliminates the need to navigate away from the tabs or use your browser's refresh button when monitoring job statuses.
Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario: Updated diagnosis code lists
We've updated the diagnosis code lists in the CHR for Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, and they are now available when you search for diagnosis codes in your patient charts.
These updates include corrections to existing codes, new diagnosis codes, and alternative terms (synonyms) to help you find the correct codes more quickly.
Alberta: Submitting PCPCM time-based codes with another BA number
When billing for Primary Care Physician Compensation Model (PCPCM), you can now submit time-based fee codes using a BA number other than a PCPCM BA number. A warning message appears, but you can still submit the bill. This is particularly useful for locums covering for multiple providers.
Fixes
You can hide a widget in the patient dashboard by clicking the eye icon as expected.
In the Update Patient window, text entered in the Family Doctor Additional Info field is saved correctly instead of being replaced by the family doctor's name.
When creating a letter and clicking +Encounter note to insert encounter details, all text copies over correctly without missing content.
When providers receive internal clinic reminders for scheduled or recurring Qnaires that patients haven't completed, the patient’s name appears in the Patient column of the provider's inbox.
When creating or modifying Qnaires and adding images to multiple draw-type questions, each question now correctly displays its own image instead of showing the most recently uploaded image across all draw-type questions.
The patient data available for patients to review and confirm is now displayed correctly in form questions within Qnaires, regardless as to when this data was recorded or updated.
When you reorder your clinic’s Qnaires using the Custom Order option, your custom order persists after refreshing your browser.
In the New Referral window, the Family Doctor patient data field now displays the doctor's full name when using the Default option instead of showing the text "Default".
For clinics using the CHR AI-powered inbox, after attaching a document to a patient, you can immediately create a referral with the patient correctly linked without closing and reopening the document.
If you previously had French enabled in your CHR but now turned it off, in Qnaires, the language toggle (EN | FR) is automatically hidden, and all Qnaire content appears in English. If English content is unavailable for specific questions, the system displays the French content as a fallback.
PrescribeIT®: You can now search for healthcare providers using the Healthcare Directory as expected.
PrescribeIT®: When creating an internal message, after selecting a recipient in the To field, searching and selecting additional recipients adds them to the field instead of replacing the existing recipient.
📌 Note: New CHR versions are released on a regular bi-weekly schedule. However, there are times where a fix is released prior to the next scheduled release. These off-schedule release fixes are documented in the separate off-schedule release notes.
