You can categorise your referrals by creating custom referral priorities. The priorities can be named based on your clinic's needs. Once a referral has been allocated a priority, they are easy to filter within a specific referral group in the referral module.

Steps to create and/ or modify referral priorities

  1. From the main menu, click Settings.

  2. Click Referrals.

  3. Click the Priorities Tab.

  4. Click +Add Priority.
    The New Priority window appears.

  5. Under Icon, click and select from a list of icons to assign to a priority.

  6. Under Colour, click and select from a list of colours to assign to a priority.

  7. Type the name of the priority in the Name field.

  8. Click Save.

💡 Tips:

  • You can rename an existing priorities by clicking on a priority. The Edit Priority window appears. Click in the Name field to rename.

  • You have to add a priority when creating a referral. If your clinic uses a priority most of the time when creating a referral, it may be beneficial to make it your default priority.

    Click on Default next to the specific priority.

⚠️ Important: If you already have referrals in your CHR referral module with a specific priority, make sure there is no referral with the specific priority before you delete it.
