⚠️ Important: This is currently a beta feature, available to a few CHR beta users in order to test and provide feedback. It will be available to more users once the beta period is complete.
If your clinic uses encounter templates, you can configure them to automatically populate ambient scribe content from CHR. Adding scribe variables allows you to specify which template sections the scribe completes, ensuring structured clinical notes.
Steps
Select the Encounter Sections tab.
Expand the History, Examination, or Assessment section where you want to insert scribe variables.
Click Insert Variable inside the section.
Select Add Scribe Section from the list.
In the Add Scribe Section window, select the clinical section for the scribe to populate, then click Save.
Repeat the steps to add additional scribe variables as needed across different sections.
Verify that purple scribe variable placeholders appear in your template sections.
Click Save to finalize the encounter template.
