By default, when a provider and patient join a virtual visit, only the audio is enabled and the video camera is turned off. You can configure your TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR) account so that both the the video and the audio automatically "turn on" for both parties.
📌Note: Each participant (provider and patient) can disable/enable the camera at any time during the virtual visit by clicking on the camera icon.
From the main menu, click Settings > Patient Portal.
Under Virtual Call Configuration, select the Video & Audio checkbox.
Click Save App Settings.
