In your CHR profile, you can add an image of yourself. When you add an avatar, it is displayed beside your name in various areas in the CHR, such as the Inbox and Instant Chat.
If you are a provider, your avatar can appear above your schedule depending on your clinic settings. Patients can also see your avatar in TELUS Health Connect, for example when reading messages you sent or when booking an appointment.
📌 Note: Only you can update your avatar image. Other users (even CHR administrators) cannot update it for you.
Steps
1. Save the picture you want to use to your computer.
2. At the top of the CHR main menu, click your avatar > Profile.
3. In your Profile, click your profile photo, and select Upload new photo.
📌 Note: If you don't currently have a profile picture, click the default avatar.
4. From the file explorer window, select the picture and click Open. Your new profile photo is uploaded.
📌 Note: The CHR accepts PNG and JPG files with a maximum size of 400x400 pixels.
5. To remove your avatar, click the photo and select Remove photo.
6. Refresh your browser for the changes to take effect.
