Showing or hiding the date for patient data
Updated over a week ago

For patient data displayed in the chart summary or in the Patient Data chart area, you can choose to show or hide the date the latest data entry was recorded. For vitals added in an encounter note, the date shown is the date from the Time field in the vitals section of the encounter. (i.e. If you back-dated the vital to a previous date, that date is shown instead of the date you entered it). This is helpful when adding historical records.

📌 Notes:

  • This is a user-specific setting that is set by each user individually.

  • You can also enable or disable this setting from the Patient Data section of the patient's chart. In the top-right corner, click the Dates and times toggle.

Steps

1. At the top of the main menu, click your avatar image.

2. Click Profile. Your Profile Settings opens.

3. Click the Preferences tab.

4. Under Patient data updated date, choose to either Show or Hide the date of the latest entry.

6. Refresh your browser window for the changes to take effect.
