When you receive a new incoming referral, if the patient does not already exist in your TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR), you can easily register and add the patient. The demographic information from the referral, and any attachments are added to the new patient's chart. You can also send the patient an invitation to the patient app and to online booking (eBooking).

You configure your referral statuses to assign the required action of Register this patient to the database or Send an eBooking invitation. For example, your clinic may choose to register the patient only upon accepting the referral. For more information, see Configuring incoming referral statuses.
