The majority of the time, the CHR matches incoming electronic labs to your inbox using your billing number saved under your user profile. However, sometimes the lab distributors Excelleris, Dynacare, eHealth, Meditech, and Unicity use other identifiers.

If the lab distributor assigns you a unique identifier, you must add it to your CHR account. In that way, when labs are received, they will go to your inbox (rather than your clinic's Miscellaneous Labs inbox).

📌 Note: Interior Health Meditech always assigns clients with unique lab identifiers. See Adding your unique Meditech identifier to your CHR account.


  1. From the main menu, click Settings > Labs.

  2. Under Unique Identifiers from Lab Distributors, click + Add ID.
    The New ID window appears.

  3. Under Distributor, click the arrow and select your lab distributor from the list.

  4. Under Identifier, enter your unique lab identifier.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Refresh your browser.
