⚠️ Important: This is currently a beta feature. It will be available once the beta period is complete.
You can mark messages and other inbox items as urgent to make them stand out for the recipient, creating a higher priority than other inbox items. An Urgent red indicator appears in the Priority column for that item.
You can mark following inbox items as urgent:
Faxes
Failed faxes
Internal messages
Integrated labs
Documents/files
By default, your inbox shows urgent items first, but you can change this order. Refer to Sorting the inbox.
📌 Note: If you receive an urgent item, regardless of where you are in the CHR, a pop-up notification appears indicating you have an urgent inbox item. Click the notification to go directly to the item.
To send a new urgent message, at the bottom of your new message, select the Mark as Urgent check box.
To mark messages already in your inbox as urgent, open the item and click Mark Urgent at the bottom.
Alternatively, to mark the item as urgent without opening it, hover over the inbox item, click the Quick actions (kebab) menu on the right, and click Mark urgent.
💡 Tip: To mark multiple inbox items as urgent at the same time, use mass actions.
To mark an item as urgent when forwarding it, click the Mark as urgent field. When you forward an item that's already marked as urgent, the Mark as urgent checkbox is selected automatically.
There are two ways that you can remove the urgent flag from a message:
Open the message, and click Unmark urgent at the bottom.
From the inbox list, hover over the inbox item, click the Quick actions (kebab) menu on the right, and click Unmark urgent.
