Frequently asked questions

General questions

Are all my inbox items still in the new inbox?

Yes, everything is still in the same place. The new inbox simply gives you more tools to interact with and view those inbox items.

Does pressing Ctrl{Cmd}+F on the keyboard to search for inbox items still work in the new inbox?

Partially. Using Ctrl{Cmd}+F finds results that are shown on the screen, or just off the screen, but if you have lots of items in your inbox, you won't be able to search for items further down. This is because the CHR only loads the items that are needed when they are needed to help load the inbox faster. We are working on a dedicated search functionality for the inbox that will allow you to search the entire inbox while maintaining performance.

Date filter

How do I set a date range?

Select the start date and then the end date.

How do I select a single date?

Click the date twice (i.e. start and end date).

How do I know the date filter is set?

The Date filter field is blue and shows the date range.

How do I clear the date filter?

Click the X on the filter field.

Filters

Are the filters ever cleared?

No, the filters persist until you change them.

You can click Reset in the top-left corner to clear all filters and show only your active items, or individually remove filters by clicking the X on the filter field.

New inbox:

The new inbox does not highlight inbox items older than 24 hours. In the old inbox, these items appeared in red.

In the old inbox:

  • Unread items had bold text.

  • Read items had regular text.

In the new inbox:

  • Unread items have a white background, bold text, and a blue bar on the left side.

  • Read items have a grey background and regular text.

Inbox customization

How can I customize my inbox?

  • Change the columns that are visible.

Click the gear icon and select the columns you want to display.

  • Reorder the columns.

Click the gear icon and use the six dots to drag columns up or down.

  • Resize the columns.

Click and drag the column dividers in the main table.

  • Sort the columns.

Click on the column header once or twice to sort the column in ascending or descending order respectively.

Is my customization only visible to me?

Yes, any customization that you make will only apply to your inbox experience. Other users can customize their own inbox.

Can I keep all my urgent items at the top of the inbox?

Yes, click the Priority column header to pin urgent items to the top. A blue flag appears to the right of the header. You can sort on an additional column when the priority items are pinned. To remove the pin, click the header again.

Snoozed and Done inbox items

Where are the Snooze and Done windows?

They are now filters (Active, Snoozed and Done).

Why is there a date range applied when I use the Done filter?

The CHR applies a date filter to the Done items so that the inbox loads faster and displays the most relevant items.

You can change the date filter if needed, but avoid clearing it to prevent your Done items from taking a long time to load. It is best to select a date range.

📌 Note: The date range is cleared when you go back to the Snoozed or Active filter.
