Improvements
Customizing the provider order on the schedule
You can configure the order you want to see the providers on the schedule. The customized order appears in both the Schedule section and the schedule window in referrals. The default order remains alphabetical.
To set the provider order, click the filter icon in the top-right corner of the schedule and drag and drop the providers in the Practitioners list. New providers appear at the bottom of the Practitioners list if you have customized the order, or in alphabetical order if you have not.
Improvements to patient name display and demographics snapshots
📌Note: TELUS Health must manually enable this feature following the release. It could take up to 24 hours before you see the functionality.
We updated the patient name display and added the demographics snapshot to additional areas of the CHR:
The main Pathways section
The Edit Referral and New Referral windows
The Edit Insured Payment and New Insured Payment windows
Patient names in these areas reflect your name format preference (set in your user preferences).
When you hover over a patient's name, a demographics snapshot now appears and you can verify basic patient information quickly eliminating the need to open the full patient chart.
Additionally, in the insured payment windows, to prevent duplicate functionality, the person icon that opened the patient's chart has been removed. If you edit the patient’s demographics in the Patient Information window, a warning appears indicating that the information on the bill may differ from the patient’s data, and therefore the demographics snapshot.
New warning when restoring previously merged patient charts
When you restore a patient chart that was archived during a patient merge, a Previously merged patient dialog informs you that the chart data may be incomplete.
In the reactivated patient chart, in the activity logs (Dashboard > Recent Activity widget), you can see that the patient was archived and then reactivated.
Sorting the Encounters list by diagnosis
In the Encounters section, you can now sort the list alphabetically by Diagnosis.
Fixes
On smaller screens, you can now scroll through all snoozing options and select any duration or add custom snooze periods when managing multiple inbox items.
When you apply a template that includes a diagnosis code, the diagnosis code automatically appears in the Assessment and Plan section of the encounter without requiring a manual refresh.
Manually entered labs now retain their naming format when forwarded.
When you access newer file versions through the link at the top of the file in an inbox message, you can now annotate and save the file successfully.
When recording injections, you now see a warning message when injection instructions reach the 255-character limit.
You can now view all referral attachments in the Outbox.
The user's header template settings determine whether complete patient demographics display when printing encounters, regardless of which provider created or signed the document.
In Settings > Referrals > E-Referral, icons for Presenting Issues now appear accurately in reasons for referral.
Button question types in Qnaires now handle single and multi-select correctly.
When a patient receives a scheduled Qnaire notification via both SMS and email, completing it through either channel automatically disables the other method and all future reminders to prevent duplicate submissions.
In the patient search window, you can once again see a patient’s primary practitioner and family doctor in the list of recent searches.
British Columbia: Teleplan billing code favourites now persist through fee code updates.
