CHR Release notes - version 25.19

Updated this week

Improvements

Expanded occupation options and French sorting

When adding or editing a contact, or a user's general information, the Occupation list is now updated. New additions include Specialized Nurse Practitioner (SNP), Psychiatrist and other standard roles. We also improved the alphabetical order in French.

Streamlined group management with user search capabilities

You can now locate a group in Settings > Account information > Groups by searching for specific users within that group. Additionally, we added user search functionality when adding members to groups in both the Edit group and Create new group windows. Both of these searches utilize the user's Display Name.

This streamlines group management and reduces the time spent browsing through long group and user lists.

Viewing additional identification values in the demographics snapshot

The demographics snapshot now shows additional identification values, including the Manitoba registration number and Ontario version code.

CHR Connect: Enhanced virtual visit instructions in patient notifications

We revised the Virtual Visit Instructions text in patient notifications, including the Appointment Confirmation, Appointment Reminder and Virtual Visit Invitation. The updated text now provides clearer, more actionable guidance optimized specifically for CHR Connect and includes a direct link for patients to download the app. We also added a new CHR Connect Virtual Visit Instructions with App Download variable for appointment notifications, that can be removed if you prefer to use your own text.

Ontario: Maintaining HRM report information access during errors

When opening an HRM report from the Inbox, you can now access Doc info, Details, and the other action buttons even when an HRM report fails to load. This ensures you retain access to the report’s metadata and can review its details.

Fixes

  • In the Summary view, you can once again see the patient's complete encounter history.

  • When selecting the Page option during follow-up question creation in Qnaires, section breaks now generate correctly.

  • Loading times for patient appointments have improved when accessed from patient charts and the schedule.

  • When you create a letter from an encounter and click Signed PDF to send the letter, the dates for all recorded vitals are included.

  • PrescribeIT®: When you view pharmacy communication attachments and click Save to Patient File, the patient matching window opens and you can select from existing patient records or create a new patient.

  • CHR Mobile: Overdue Qnaire responses now correctly show as red in the CHR mobile inbox.

  • Alberta and British Columbia: In the inbox, when you forward lab results to a different provider, the forwarded item retains its original category.
