Fixes and improvements

March 2026

Version 26.5 - March 17, 2026

  • When booking appointments and searching for a clinic with accents, patients no longer need to type accents exactly as they appear in the clinic name. For example, searching for "clinique premiere ligne" will now find "Clinique Première Ligne."

  • When you have an appointment type's online booking setting of Default Status from Patient set to None, and the patient books that appointment type, they no longer see a status label associated with that appointment. This applies to views in the home dashboard, appointment list, appointment details, and booking confirmation screens.

February 2026

Version 26.2 - February 6, 2026

  • Patients can now enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on their TELUS Health Connect accounts, with the flexibility to use either email or SMS verification. New patients are prompted to set it up during sign-up, while existing patients are asked to enable it when they log into their account next. Patients can also enable or manage 2FA under their account Settings. This additional security layer helps protect their health information.
📌 Note: You can request a report of patient 2FA usage by emailing connectsupport@telus.com.
