Improvements

Viewing comments in the tasks list

The main tasks list now includes a Comment column that displays the last comment on each task, giving you quick visibility into task discussions without opening individual tasks. This column is hidden by default; to display it, click the Configure icon and select the Comment column in the list.

For more information, refer to Viewing and managing tasks.

Real-time task updates

Tasks now update in real time without requiring you to refresh the page. Whether you're viewing the main tasks list or looking at the details of a specific task throughout the CHR, any changes made by you or another team member appear instantly. If another user updates a task you are currently viewing, a notification appears in the top-right corner.

Manitoba: Enhanced date tracking in bill service details

When viewing Service Details for a billing item, you now see clear dates for easier transaction auditing. The existing Receipt Date column has been renamed to Ministry Receipt Date and indicates the date the ministry originally received the billing item. A new Processed At column shows when a specific remittance file was received and processed by the CHR.

Role-based access control: Billing Dashboard permission reclassified

The Billing Dashboard permission, that allows users access to the Billing dashboard, has been moved to the Feature Permissions list to better reflect its function.

Fixes

  • When clicking the Gender field in Settings > Personal information, the list appears immediately below the field again.

  • The Comments section in cases loads properly; previously, when users had attempted to close the same case multiple times, an error prevented comments from appearing.

  • In the Referrals dashboard, the Hide waitlisted referrals filter persists when navigating between pages of referrals.

  • You can successfully save insured billing items linked to an unsigned encounter from the Visits dashboard.

  • When using encounter templates that contain table or list variables for which no patient data is available, line breaks defined in the template are preserved.

  • When using encounter templates, patient data variables populate consistently when the corresponding data exists in the patient’s chart.

  • In patient group settings, when clicking +With to include a status tag, the label correctly displays with instead of the misleading without. The without label now also appears before excluded tags.

  • For clinics using role-based access control, you can change your landing page without getting permission denied errors.

  • For clinics using role-based access control, after archiving a patient chart, if you navigate away from the patient list then back, the list resets to show active patients instead of archived patients.

  • For clinics using PrescribeIT®, when you log into the CHR with two-factor authentication, you are automatically connected to your PrescribeIT® session as expected, eliminating the need to enter 2FA credentials multiple times.

📌Note: New CHR versions are released on a regular bi-weekly schedule. However, there are times when a fix is released prior to the next scheduled release. These off-schedule release fixes are documented separately in the off-schedule release notes. Be sure to also view the TELUS Health Connect release notes for related platform updates.
