Assigning default letter templates to incoming referral statuses (actions)

Clinics select a specific referral status once an incoming referral has been received. These can have actions assigned to them. You can select specific letter templates to be utilized for certain actions:

  • Referral Waitlisted letter template

  • Referral acceptance letter template

  • Referral rejection letter template

There are three default referral letter templates available in your CHR domain: Referral acceptance letter, Referral waitlisted letter, Referral rejection letter. These templates can be customised. See Creating letter templates for more details.

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Settings > Referral.

  2. From the General section, for each action/status (acceptance, waitlist, rejection), select the letter template you want associated to that action.

Referral Waitlisted Letter Template

Click the arrow to select a letter template to be used with the referral waitlisting action.

Referral Acceptance Letter Template

Click the arrow to select a letter template to be used with the referral acceptance action.

Referral Rejection Letter Template

Click the arrow to select a letter template to be used with the referral rejection action.

3. Click Save Referral Settings.
