CHR Release notes - version 26.10

Improvements

Viewing no known drug allergies in the patient chart header

You can now see at a glance a patient's complete allergy status without navigating to the Allergies section. When you record that a patient has no known drug allergies, the patient chart header displays an NKDA indicator. If the patient has non-drug allergies, the header displays the allergy count alongside the NKDA indicator - for example, Allergies (1, NKDA).

Activity log banner removed from the Allergies list

The blue View activity log banner that previously appeared at the top of the Allergies section of the chart has been removed. This keeps the Allergies section focused and relevant, since the activity log shows all chart activity and not just allergy-related entries.

Viewing only authorized locations in the tasks list and filters

For clinics using location-based access, in the Tasks list you now only see tasks associated with the locations you are authorized to access, giving you a focused view of your work.

Also, only locations you have access to appear as options in the Location field when you are filtering the task list or creating a task.

All users can view and filter tasks that do not have an assigned location.

Fixes

  • When you create a new patient while adding a referral, you can successfully open the patient chart from the referral without receiving an error.

  • When adding a lab result variable in a template, selecting a lab synonym now consistently displays the correct common name (e.g. Hemoglobin), even when other synonyms for that lab result exist.

  • A permission denied error no longer appears when faxing a patient file and you haven’t refreshed your browser after PrescribeIT® is disabled.

  • New Brunswick: Vaccine lot numbers that were valid on the service date but have since expired are now available when back-dating an immunization bill.

📌Note: New CHR versions are released on a regular bi-weekly schedule. However, there are times where a fix is released prior to the next scheduled release. These off-schedule release fixes are documented in the separate off-schedule release notes.
