The eBooking tool is mainly used by patients to make/request appointments defined by location, date and time, appointment type, providers, and reason for the visit (presenting issue).

You can allow your patients to change or cancel their online appointments.

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Settings > Scheduling > Extra Tab.

  2. Under Patient can change appointments, select Enable to allow the patient to change their appointments from the eBooking tool.

  3. Under Patient can cancel appointments, select Enable to allow your patients to cancel their appointments from the eBooking tool.

    💡 Tips:

    • If you want to set how much notice your patients must give when they want to reschedule their appointments, you can select between 1 and 30 days notice under Request Appointment Time Changes.

    • If you want to set how much notice your patients must give when they want to cancel their appointments, you can select between 1 and 30 days notice under Patient Cancellations.

  4. Click Submit.

Patients can change or cancel their appointment(s) by clicking Appointment Details in their E-mail notification. This will bring them to the eBooking tool.

From there they are presented with their appointment details. Under You Appointment, they can click Change to change the appointment date/time.

Alternatively they can click Cancel Appointment.
