Updating Google Chrome

Update Chrome on a regular basis for optimal CHR performance

Updated over a week ago

You should keep Chrome up to date for the best performance. Chrome generally updates in the background and the updates are applied the next time you relaunch the browser. You can also check for updates manually.

1. In the top-right corner of your Chrome browser, click the Customize and control Google Chrome icon (3 dots).

2. Select Update Google Chrome.

📌 Note: If you do not see this option, it means you have the most recent version of Chrome.

3. When the update is finished, click Relaunch to close and re-open Chrome and apply the updates.

For more information, in the Chrome help, see Update Google Chrome or watch their video on Keeping Chrome updated.
