If you need to modify a service's submission code (for example, if you are submitting a duplicate claim and need to change the submission code to [D] Duplicate Claim), for the billing item, you can show and modify the hidden Submission Code field by selecting the Show Submission Fields checkbox.

Steps
Create your billing item as per usual.
At the bottom of the billing item window, elect the Show Submission Fields checkbox.
In the Submission Code drop-down, select the submission code you want.
