If you're adding providers to your patient's care team (see Defining a care team for a patient) and the role you want doesn't exist, you can add it from the settings.
Steps
1. From the main menu, click Settings > Patient.
2. Scroll down to the Care Team Settings section. The list of existing roles appears.
3. To add a new role, click Add New Role.
4. Enter a name and optional description for the role and then click Save.
The role is added to the list and is available when defining a patient's care team.
