Worried your patients won't know what appointment type to pick? No problem. Below each appointment type, you can add a short description. You can also add a more detailed description that appears when patients click the information icon.

Steps

1. From the CHR Settings, edit or add the appointment type. See Creating and modifying appointment types.

2. In the Edit Appointment Type or New Appointment Type window, click the Description tab.

3. To add a short description that displays below the appointment type name, in the SHORT DESCRIPTION field, type the description.

4. To add a more detailed description that appears when patients click the i icon, in the LONG DESCRIPTION field, type the description.

5. Click Submit.
