When you book appointments for a provider, by default, all appointment types are displayed. The available appointment types for that provider appear in bold, and the rest are greyed out. See Booking appointments.
To simplify and streamline your appointment bookings, your CHR can now limit the appointment types that appear when booking appointments for any provider. Only the appointment types that are associated with the providers' working hours and location appear in the list. This is highly beneficial for large clinics with multiple locations who have a long list of configured appointment types.

📌 Notes:
When booking appointments outside of your configured schedule, appointment types applied to your working hours are greyed out. Any additional appointment types you see are the ones applied to other providers’ working hours that share your location. This also applies to virtual appointments.
When you book a physical (in-person) appointment, any virtual appointment types that have been applied to other providers' working hours that share your location, are visible but greyed out.
When you book a virtual appointment type, any physical appointment types that have been applied to other providers' working hours that share your location, are not visible.
If no appointment types (physical or virtual) are applied to a providers' working hours (Standard or Flex), only appointment types applied to the location or virtual appointments applied for the domain are visible but greyed out.
💡 Tip: Greyed out appointment types indicate they aren't available; however, you can still book them. Click Skip when a warning appears.
