Understanding the use of cookies (Quebec)

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small files that websites place on your computer's hard drive when you visit them. Their function is to tell the website when you return so it can store relevant information contained in the web page. Although it is possible to misuse them, cookies are not inherently malicious. TELUS Health uses cookies to improve user experience.

Why use cookies?

In the Collaborative Health Record (CHR), cookies enable the retention of information related to your user profile:

  • The location you selected in your profile.

  • The language selected when you log in.

  • The date selected in the schedule calendar.

  • The schedule display mode (day, week).

Other information can be saved on your computer to facilitate your work:
