⚠️ Important: This is currently a beta feature. It will be available once the beta period is complete.

The New Brunswick Electronic Health Record (EHR) allows authorized users to access a patient's provincial medical information through the EHR Clinical Viewer. For more information, see the New Brunswick Electronic Health Record (EHR) website.

You can quickly access the EHR Clinical Viewer directly from a patient's chart in the CHR, using the built-in provincial integration service viewer.

Steps

1. Open the patient chart.

2. At the top of the chart, click the EHR Clinical Viewer icon.

📌Note: The patient chart must have a valid New Brunswick Medicare number recorded in the CHR to open the EHR Clinical Viewer.

3. The EHR Clinical Viewer opens in your web browser, with the patient's information displayed.

⚠️ Important: Only one EHR Clinical Viewer window can be open at a time. If you open another patient’s chart, the previously opened window automatically closes. If you close the CHR browser window, log out of the CHR, or you are automatically logged out of your CHR account due to inactivity, the EHR Clinical Viewer window also closes.
