Creating custom filters in the schedule
Updated over a week ago

You can create custom filters from the Filter Appointments window or use the preset filters on the schedule itself. Both methods have different functionality, and should be used together to best organize your schedule to see only the information you need.

From the Filter Appointments window you can filter by location, practitioner, type of appointment, and appointment status. You can also save filters that you commonly use.

To filter by user groups, available hours, or by location only, you should use the preset filters on the schedule. For more information, refer to Filtering the schedule.

Steps

  1. Click the filter icon at the top-right corner of the schedule. The Filter Appointments window appears.

  2. To use a saved filter, select it from the Filter set list. Your saved selections appear.

  3. If you are not using a saved filter, select the location, Practitioners, Services, and Statuses you'd like to see on the schedule.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: A Classic Mode filter may appear at the bottom of the window, and only for accounts that were using the CHR before the 23.11.6 update on June 13, 2023. For more information, refer to the 23.11.6 release notes.

  4. Select whether you'd like to Show Group Visits using the checkbox at the bottom of the window.

  5. To save your filter to use later, in the top-right corner, click Save filter set. Or, if you already have a filter saved, click Save.

    • To create a new filter, give your filter a unique name.

    • To update an existing filter, select Update existing and select the filter you want to update.

    • Click Save.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: To Delete or Rename a filter, select the filter and click the down arrow to the right.

  6. Click Apply to apply your changes and update your view of the schedule.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: When viewing a patient's appointment, you will see all appointments for the patient on that day, including with practitioners that are not currently selected in your filter.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: To clear the filters, select All Services and/or All Statuses in the Filter Appointments window.
