Managing your TELUS CHR Connect subscription

Updated over a week ago

TELUS Health currently offers two levels of CHR Connect subscriptions: Basic and Pro. The Basic subscription is included with your CHR. The Pro subscription, priced at $35 per provider per month, offers additional features like push notifications for your patients, patient-initiated messaging, automated clinic responses, and in-app branding to match your clinic’s branding.

If you have buying authority, you can easily switch between the Basic and Pro CHR Connect plans. To enable the purchase managing permission, contact chrconnectsupport@telus.com.

📌Note: To view which users at your clinic have purchasing permissions, go to Settings > Account information, and under User Management, click the Purchasers tab.

Steps

1. From the main menu, click Add on.

📌Note: To see a detailed comparison between the Basic and Pro subscription, click Show detailed plan comparison.

2. To switch from Basic to Pro subscription:

a. In the Pro section, click Upgrade.

b. In the Enable CHR Connect Pro window, select the two checkboxes (acknowledging that you are an authorized purchaser and accepting terms and conditions) and click Enable.

c. To view details such as who enabled Pro, click the down arrow in the Pro box.

3. To switch from Pro to Basic:
a. Click the down arrow in the Pro box.
b. Click Reactivate in the Downgrade to basic section and in the window that appears, select Deactivate.

If you are on Pro and downgrade to Basic and then change your mind, you can reactivate your Pro plan before your current subscription expires. When you downgrade from Pro to Basic, the system preserves your option to return to Pro status immediately, without waiting for the current billing cycle to end. Upon reactivation, the system updates the agreement with current signing details, including the present date and your name.

📌Note: The current subscription expires on the first of the following month.
