⚠️ Important: This is currently a beta feature. It will be available once the beta period is complete.
We recommend that you use your Inbox as a task list. Use the snooze feature to schedule reminder tasks, such as recalling a patient. Snoozing also enables you to better organize your inbox by hiding items until a future date. This enables you to concentrate on what needs to be done today.
When an inbox item is snoozed, its status changes from active to snoozed, and it only appears when you have the status filter set to Snoozed.
Steps
To snooze an existing inbox item:
From the main menu, click the Inbox.
Hover over the inbox item you want to snooze and click the Quick actions (kebab) on the right.
Hover over Snooze.
💡 Tip: You can snooze more than one inbox item at the same time. Refer to Performing mass actions in the inbox.
To snooze a new message.
Start a new message. Refer to Creating and sending messages to users.
In the top-right corner of the New Message window, click the clock icon.
The Snooze until list appears.
From the Snooze until list, select the length of time to snooze the item. This determines when the inbox item returns to an active status.
To set a custom date:
Click Custom Date.
Type a date, or select one from the calendar.
Click Snooze.
The inbox item’s status changes to snoozed.
To change the snooze date or unsnooze an item, follow the steps to snooze an existing item.
To view all of the snoozed items in a user's inbox, select Snoozed from the status filter. For more information, refer to Filtering the inbox.
💡 Tip: When the snooze expires and the inbox item is back in an Active state, the snoozed information appears in blue under the date. The date column for snoozed and previously snoozed items shows the snooze expiration date, not the original receipt date.
