If your CHR has multiple locations configured, you can easily switch between them. The system remembers your preference the next time you log in. The currently selected location is used in various areas of the CHR.
The current location:
Pre-fills the invoice location information for Private Billing items.
Pre-fills the Location field for Insured Billing items.
Populates in any form, letter or cover page templates with a variable that pulls your current location.
Appears in the prescription header, unless a location is configured in prescriptions settings.
Appears by default in letterheads, unless your clinic has a customized image letterhead.
Pre-fills the Primary Location field when adding new patients.
📌 Notes:
If you have locations across multiple provinces, and have a provincial viewer enabled (e.g. Netcare in Alberta or CareConnect in British Columbia), the provincial viewer available depends on your current location.
To use PrescribeIT, it must be enabled for your current location.
The current location is used for Netcare data exchange.
Steps
From the main menu, click your avatar, and then click Change Location.
💡Tip: The Visits dashboard opens with your current location set in the location filters. Changing the location there also updates your current location.
📌Note: This option appears only if you have access to multiple locations.
In the location list, select the location. Your current location is updated, and appears in blue under your name.
