Saving personal task views

You can save your most used filters as views, creating consistency and saving time. For example, if you want to review all critical lab requisitions that need to be started in the next 7 days, you can save a View to display only those tasks.

In the top-left corner, the currently selected View appears, or if no saved View is being used, Custom appears. The tasks list comes with a prebuilt view that shows All tasks. This is set as the default view, but you can change it.

Clinic views can also appear in the list of views; these views are shared by all users in the clinic. For more information, refer to Creating clinic-wide task views.

Steps

1. From the main menu, click Tasks.


2. Set your desired filters. For more information, refer to Filtering and sorting the tasks list.

3. In the top-left corner, the view shows as Custom. Click Save and the Save custom view window opens.

4. To create a new view:

a) Select New.

b) In the Name field, give your view a descriptive name.

c) Click Save. The view is saved to your list of Personal views.


5. To update the filters of an existing saved view:

a) Select Update existing.

b) Select the existing view in the list. If needed, you can also update the name.

c) Click Save.

6. To delete a view or change its name:

a) In the list of Personal views, hover over the view and click the Edit icon.

b) In the Edit view window, edit the name and click Save, or click Delete to delete the view.

7. To update your default view, in the list of Personal views, hover over the view and click Set as default. The tasks list returns to your default view when you click Reset.
