You CHR password is mainly used to login to your TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR) account. At times you are asked to authenticate certain actions within the CHR like making changes to certain settings. You can change your password at any stage. We recommend that you change your password regularly for security purposes.

If you were locked out of your account because you attempted to log in more than 5 times, reach out to your CHR administrator in your clinic who has the permission to Edit Other Users. They can unlock your account. See Unlocking a user's account.
From the main menu, click Settings > Security > User.
📌 Note: Alternatively, at the top of the main menu, click your avatar image > Security.
Under Change Password, type your new password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.
📌 Note: The new password must contain at least 8 characters and be one that you never used before.
An authentication window appears.
In the Current Password field, type your current password.
You will receive a password change notification email.
