Creating auto fill cover page templates
Updated over a week ago

If you repeatedly use a cover page that contains the same information for certain contacts or patients, you can make use of autofill cover page templates.

This allows you to complete a cover page more efficiently.

For example, you type the same information in the subject and comments section of your clinic cover page that is sent to all your pharmacy contacts when you fax prescriptions. You can create a pharmacy specific autofill cover page template where the subject and comments are automatically added.

Before you can create an auto fill cover page template, you must have a cover page template in your domain. See Creating a cover page template.

Steps

  1. From the main toolbar, click Settings > Templates > Cover Page.

  2. Select an existing cover page and click Auto Fill Templates.

The Auto Fill Templates window appears.

  3. Under Templates, click + Add Template.
The cover page template with the pre-configured data points and text boxes appears.

  4. In the Template Name field, enter the autofill template name.

  5. In any of the empty None fields, type the text you want to appear on the cover page if the specific autofill template is selected. See Adding a cover page to a PDF document.
💡 Tip: You can modify or delete any entered text.

  6. Click Save.
