Medical claims are submitted for payment electronically through the Medical Services Plan (MSP) Teleplan integration. If you are a new client / user, the CHR team will set up the integration for your clinic.

We encourage all CHR users to configure your own default service location code (SLC).

Steps

  1. From the main toolbar, click Settings > Billings.

  2. Under Public Billing Providers > Teleplan, click the pencil icon

    A new window appears.

  3. In the Service Location field, click the arrow and select the appropriate (default) service location from the list.

  4. Click Authenticate.

📌 Note: Similarly, if you have more than one clinic location, you can add a default SLC for the specific clinic locations.

  1. Follow the above steps 1 and 2.

  2. Under Additional Settings By Location, click on a specific clinic location.

  3. In the Service Location field, click the arrow and select the appropriate (default) SLC from the list.

📌 Note: In response to Teleplan's changes to Service Location Codes (SLC's), there was an update in the CHR Billing System. Old SLC's will be phased out gradually until October 1, 2021. See BC Teleplan Service Location Code (SLC) changes.
