You can allow patients to see your clinic's address and map in reminders and notifications for a specific appointment type. When you enable this option, patients who self-book this appointment type through your CHR eBooking site see your clinic address and location on the appointment notification at the end of the eBooking process.
⚠️ Important: If you are using TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR) Connect, this option is always enabled.
By setting this option on a per-appointment-type basis, you can select when patients will or will not see your clinic location. For example, you can set an appointment type for an in-person consultation to display this information and an appointment type for a virtual visit to not display this information.
Steps
From the main menu, click Settings > Scheduling > Appointment Type.
Click an existing appointment type or add a new one. See Creating and modifying appointment types. The Appointment Type or Edit Appointment Type window opens respectively.
In the Show Location On Appointment Letter list, select one of the following options:
Default: Shows or hides the clinic location's address information based on your clinic-wide default. Refer to Displaying clinic address and map on all eBooking notifications.
Enable: Shows the clinic location's address information.
Disable: Hides your clinic location's address information.
4. Click Save.
