Exporting billing reports from the Billing dashboard
Updated over a week ago

You can export customised billing reports or billing data from the Billing dashboard for reporting purposes or to transfer the data into another application. You must have the Billing Dashboard permission enabled.

You can specify what you want to export. The export generates a CSV file.

📌 Notes:

  • You must have a spreadsheet application installed on your computer to open a CSV file (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers).

  • The report contains identifiable patient information. It is your responsibility to safeguard the data as per your clinic'c privacy standards.

  • The CHR is limited to producing 5,000 rows of data per CSV file. Therefore, if you are exporting a large number of bills, multiple files are produced.

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Billing to open the dashboard.

  2. Configure your filter for items your want to include in your export. See Filtering the Billing dashboard.

  3. Click the export icon at the top right and the click CSV File #1.

The file automatically downloads to your computer. The file is named: [Clinic Name] Payment Summary (<Date range>).

📌 Note: In the CSV file, bills with multiple billing items are incorporated in one row and separated by commas. The CSV file cannot reflect which individual billing items on a bill were paid and which were not paid. Only the total amount paid for the entire bill is presented.
