Viewing a patient's population-based funding registration history (British Columbia)
Updated over a year ago

Any population-based funding registration changes made using the CHR are recorded in the patient's registration history. You can view the history from the Suggested PBF Registrations report or from the PBF Registration widget in the dashboard view of the patient's chart.

📌 Note: To view a patient's PBF registration as of a specific date in the past (i.e. if you are back-dating a bill), use the Eligibility Check in the PBF Registration widget. For more information, refer to Viewing a patient's population-based funding registration status.

Steps

1. Click the clock icon in the PBF Registration widget or the Suggested PBF Registrations report.

2. The Patient Registration History displays an entry for each change in registration status, with the most recent at the top.

💡 Tip: Hover your cursor over the Status, Practitioner, Reg. Comments and De-Reg. Comments fields to see the complete description.

In this example, the patient was registered to a new provider on January 6, 2022 and therefore was automatically de-registered from the previous provider with a de-registration date set to the prior day.

📌 Note: If you approve a suggested registration for a patient who is already registered, and the practitioner is the same but the suggested registration date is later than what is recorded in the CHR, the Patient Registration History shows the patient as de-registered one day prior to the new suggested registration date. There is a separate entry for the registration on the new date.
