The Client Registry contains demographic information and coverage eligibility for all patients who have interacted with or received medical care in Alberta. You can view and download demographic information from the Client Registry to your patient files in the TELUS CHR.
Steps
1. If you are an authorized user and the Client Registry is enabled (refer to Configuring the Alberta Client Registry integration), when logging in to the CHR, you immediately receive the prompt to log in to the Client Registry.
2. Enter your credentials using the following table as a reference.
Field | Description |
EHR ID/EHR Password | Type your Netcare user ID and password provided by Alberta Health.
📌 Note: You will be notified your password needs to be reset within seven days of the expiration date. Refer to Resetting your Alberta Client Registry password. |
RSA User ID | In the RSA User ID field, type your Netcare RSA user name (the user name associated with the user’s Netcare EHR RSA FOB). |
RSA Token | In the RSA Token field, enter the passcode:
a) If you are using an RSA SecurID soft token (iOS or Android mobile app), enter your PIN into the app to generate the current 8-digit token passcode.
📌 Note: If the number on your soft token is about to change (refer to countdown timer), wait until the number changes before entering the passcode in the RSA Token field.
b) If you are using an RSA SecurID hard token, enter your RSA SecurID PIN, followed by the current number displayed on your RSA SecurID token/fob.
📌 Note: If the number on your fob is about to change (only one or two bars display on the countdown bar), wait until the number changes before entering the passcode in the RSA Token field.
For more information, refer to AHS RSA SecurID Remote Access. |
3. Click Login.
💡 Tip: If you don’t want to connect to Netcare, Netcare is currently unavailable or if you forgot your password, select Work Offline and continue to work in the CHR locally.
