Improvements

Updated interface for PDF files

We made the following visual changes when you open any inbox items or documents in the Patient Files section of the patient chart:

  • The Edit button at the bottom of the document has now moved to the top-right and is called Doc info.

  • The Fax and Email buttons at the top-right are now available as options in the list that appears when you click the Share button at the bottom of the document. Forward, New Message and To Patient are now displayed together with these in a list format.

  • At the top-right corner, we re-named the Add Cover Page icon to +Cover Page.

  • When you generate a PDF, we replaced the settings icon at the top-right corner with a Cover page icon.

Customized folders for billing templates

To save time in your busy day, you can now create custom folders in My Contents for the billing templates you use most often.

To add billing templates to a folder, click +Add Content > $ Billing Templates and select the templates to add.

For more information, refer to Organizing your templates into folders.

New setting for displaying stopped or prescribed medications in an encounter

Stopped and prescribed medications are displayed in the Assessment and Plan section of the encounter by default. To change this, in Settings > Prescription > My Encounter Prescriptions, clear the checkboxes.

📌Note: This is a user-specific setting that is set by each user individually.

For more information, refer to Stopping medications.

Fixes

Below is a list of bugs we have identified and fixed in this release. For more information, contact our TELUS Health support team.

  • In British Columbia, when updating an existing WSBC form in Insured Billing, the changes are once again saved.

  • When deleting a single medication from a prescription, the medication is removed.

  • When signing a prescription, the name on the prescription is the First Name and Last Name from your user profile, instead of the Display Name.

  • When a medication has a concurrent dose and a quantity is not entered, the longest duration is displayed in the prescription printout.

  • When printing a prescription, the duration is now displayed on the printout even when the quantity is not entered.

  • In PEI, updated lab results with more than one PDF now show all PDFs with the correct file name in the Lab Results section of the patient chart.

  • You can now delete previous vital entries in a growth chart.

  • You can now generate PDFs from lab results that have Rich Text Format (RTF) file attachments.

  • In Settings > Scheduling > Appointment Type > Group Visit Templates, the option to set conditions has been removed since conditions do not apply to group visits.
