The TELUS CHR team has been working hard to get you new features and enhancements. Here are some highlights:
What’s new in the CHR
Patient’s allergies in the chart header: We’ve added an Allergies indicator to the patient chart header thanks to your valuable feedback. Keep it coming!
AI-enabled document matching: The inbox uses AI to automatically suggest patients to attach incoming files to. A big administrative time saver over manual search (paid feature, contact emrsales@telus.com for details).
Streamlined splitting of multi-page PDFs: You can now specify which page or page range should be assigned to each patient in a single step, instead of deleting pages to split a document.
Multi-date schedule templates: This enhancement allows you to apply flexible schedule templates and vacation schedule templates to multiple dates all at once by specifying repeat options.
Infant record management in Obstetrical Care: You can use the new Obstetrical Care section of the Health Profile to record infant details such as delivery type or final gestational age.
Obstetrical Care section in the patient summary: You can now easily view the Obstetrical Care section from the Summary view of the patient's chart.
New fields for Injections and Immunizations: We’ve added a new field to add Drug Code and Manufacturer when recording an immunization or injection for a patient, or adding a clinic-wide frequent injection in Settings.
Patient hover-over: You can now hover your cursor over the patient’s name in the header and in the Opened patients list to see additional demographic information.
Improved patient search: Now when searching, you receive more meaningful results from what you provided. We improved the quality of search results and added the ability to search using special characters and accents.
Search encounters by diagnosis: You can search for encounters based on diagnosis by filling in the new Diagnosis column in the Encounters section of patient charts.
Alberta Client Registry: Create patient charts faster and more accurately using the Client Registry which contains demographic information and coverage eligibility for all patients who have encountered the health system in Alberta.
Performance improvements: We continue to make significant performance improvements in various areas of CHR guided by our monitoring system and your feedback.
