Setting up your TELUS Health Connect account (for patients)

Access TELUS Health Connect on your mobile device (via app) or computer (via web browser).

Steps

1. Create your account

a. Open the app or webiste and at the bottom of the screen, select Sign Up.

📌 Note: If you've accessed the app or website before (even if it was for another clinic) log in using your previously set credentials. If you've forgotten your password, select Forgot Password. Once you've logged in, you can add the new clinic to your account and switch to it.


b. Choose your sign-up method:

  • Select Sign up with email, or

  • Select Sign up with Google or Sign up with Apple to use single sign-on. Now skip to step e.

c. On the Create a new account screen, enter your email address and create a unique password.

📌 Note: The password must have minimum 8 characters with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.

d. Select the checkboxes to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy and Consent Information.

e. Click Sign up or, if using single sign-on, select Continue.

f. A confirmation message appears. Check your email inbox for a message from info@thconnect.telushealth.com. If you do not receive the email, click Resend email.

g. Open the confirmation email, and select Confirm your email.

If you are on a mobile device, the app opens automatically. On a computer, the desktop version opens in a new browser tab.

h. If you are on a mobile device, choose whether to enable Log in with biometrics (fingerprint or face recognition).

2. Add your clinic

a. On the Add Clinic screen, in the search field type your clinic's name.

💡 Tips:

  • To confirm you've found the correct clinic, select location(s) under the clinic name to view the clinic details. All of the locations for that clinic appear with their addresses.

  • You must search by the clinic name, you cannot search by location or phone number.

b. Select the + icon beside the clinic name to add it.


3. Complete your profile

a. Enter your information in the General Information fields:

📌 Note: If you are an exisiting patient, click I have visited this clinic before.

Ensure that you add the same information the clinic has on file. We use first name, last name, date of birth and health number in order to match you with your patient profile at the clinic.

b. Select Next.

If you are an existing patient,

  • Review your profile information and select Confirm.

  • Select Connect to link with your profile at the clinic.

If the system is unable to link with your existing patient profile, a No match found or Contact your clinic message appears. Select the X to close the window. Verify that the information you entered is accurate and try again. If you still cannot connect, contact your clinic.

If you are new to the clinic and the clinic accepts new patients,

  • Enter and verify your Phone number.

  • Complete any additional information fields.

  • Select Register.

Your account is successfully connected to the clinic and the homepage section opens.

If you are new to the clinic and they do not accept new patients, a Registration closed message appears and your account is not linked. Contact the clinic directly for more information.
