When managing documents in your inbox, you assign owners and file names to organize and categorize your documents effectively. Instead of manually selecting these details, the CHR's AI-powered feature analyzes the document content to suggest file names and document owners.
For the File Name field, the system analyzes the document content and suggests appropriate file names based on a predefined list. Refer to CHR AI-powered: File categories and names.
If an AI-suggested file name matches one of your clinic's configured file names (refer to Configuring patient file names), selecting it automatically applies any associated file tags.
For the Owner field, the system compares detected names with your clinic's user list. If there's a match, the suggested owner appears at the top of the list. For clinical documents such as lab reports or diagnostic imaging results, the system can identify doctors mentioned in CC fields.
Steps
1. In your Inbox, open the fax or uploaded document.
2. If the document is not yet assigned to a patient, match the document to a patient.
3. Click Doc info. The Update Received File window opens.
4. In the Owner field, select a provider from the list.
📌Notes:
If the system finds a match, it appears at the top of the CHR AI suggestions list with an AI icon. If a doctor is mentioned in the CC field of a document (e.g. lab or diagnostic imaging result), they also appear in the list of suggested owners.
If the system finds potential names but cannot match them to your user list, they appear below CHR AI suggestions.
If the suggested match is incorrect, you can manually search for and select one from the list.
5. In the File Name field, to change it, click X to remove the default file name and type a new name or select one from the list.
📌Notes:
The system suggests file names based on the document content.
CHR AI suggestions appear at the top of the list with an AI icon and clinic-specific configured file names appear in the Default file name list.
If a suggested file name matches a configured patient file name in your system, it appears in the CHR AI suggestions list with an AI icon.
Selecting an AI-suggested file name automatically applies any tags that are associated with the matching configured patient file name.
The matching is not case-sensitive (e.g. "Lab Report" and "lab report" are considered the same).
6. Update the file fields. For descriptions on all the file fields, refer to Updating files from your inbox.
7. Click Save.
