Improvements
Improvements to patient name display and demographics snapshots in Referrals
📌Note: TELUS Health must manually enable this feature following the release. It could take up to 24 hours before you see the functionality.
We added the demographics snapshot that appears when you hover over the patient's name to the Referrals dashboard. We also updated the patient name display to reflect your name format preference.
Self-serve integration with Stripe
Users with buying authority can now configure the account’s Stripe integration; previously this was managed by the TELUS CHR Support account. You need to accept the Stripe terms and conditions before you complete the integration.
To integrate with Stripe, go to Settings > Billing > Stripe under Private Billing Providers.
For more information, refer to Configuring Stripe in the CHR.
Stripe terminal payments require fewer clicks
When you are collecting payment for a private bill, and select Terminal Payment (Stripe), the Point of sale (location) is automatically selected if there is only one location set up for your Stripe account. If there is only one terminal reader configured for the selected Point of sale, the Card Reader is automatically selected.
British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick and Ontario: Viewing your lab distributor polling logs
The CHR automatically connects to your lab distributor, either Excelleris or eHealth, and downloads lab reports every 15 minutes. Using the Latest Lab Integration Logs, you can now easily verify if each connection was successful, how many labs (Messages) were imported and see the time stamp.
From the main menu, click Settings > Labs and, in the Lab Integrations section, click Logs.
For more information, refer to Reviewing your Excelleris or eHealth lab polling logs (British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick and Ontario).
New Brunswick: Allowing only one physician number in a provider’s billing integration
Since a provider can only have one physician number, the Physician Number field in a provider's billing integration now only supports one number and not comma-separated values. If an existing provider has multiple physician numbers configured, they only see the first value in insured billing and are not able to switch between multiple numbers.
PEI: Fee code update
We have updated the Prince Edward Island fee code list in the CHR. The updates include 9 fee codes.
The fee code 0505 is now only available for the Internal Medicine specialty.
Updated facility types
We added the Community Care facility and related Provincial Palliative Care Centre for fee codes 1830, 1833 and 0136.
We added the Detox Centre facility for fee codes 1830 and 1833
Updated fee amounts for fee codes 9320 and 9324.
Updated ED Sessional fees (9308, 9319 and 9318) to 15 minutes increments.
Dr.Bill integration authentication update
On August 18, Dr.Bill updated how the CHR authenticates users with the Dr.Bill integration.
If you have not billed using Dr.Bill in the last 120 days, you may be required to re-authenticate:
When creating a bill, you will not see the Dr.Bill integration option. Existing bills in draft status will move to Attention Required status.
To reauthenticate, go to Settings > Billing > Dr.Bill, and enter your Dr.Bill email, password, and service location (optional).
Once you are re-authenticated, edit the bills and select the Dr.Bill integration.
If you don't have billing settings permissions, contact the TELUS Health support team for assistance.
Fixes
Referral data fields maintain the order configured in Settings > Data Templates again.
Duplicate faxes are no longer sent when manually entering a fax number for contacts that already exist in the contact list.
Custom alert messages for expiry dates of patient data property and flowsheet items show correctly.
When adding or modifying contacts in the Contacts area, typing in a list field searches for options that start with the entered letters first, followed by options containing those letters anywhere in the text.
When creating or modifying a Qnaire and adding a button question type, you can add images in choice options when Alert message to designated provider is selected.
When you copy a question in a Qnaire, the system displays all fields in both English and French and automatically places the new question at the end of the Qnaire without requiring a refresh.
When searching facilities in the Healthcare Directory, the facility type label is now correct for laboratories.
