Viewing login history

Updated over 2 months ago

The login history allows you to track logins and login attempts to your TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR). For all logins, you can review the date and time, IP address, location details and whether the login was successful. For example, you may want to audit when users are logging into their CHR account (including after hours), when they last logged in, and if they logged in off-site.

TELUS Health sends the login logs to the provided email address in a password-protected zipped file containing both a PDF and .CSV version.

This must be done by the TELUS CHR Support account. Contact the TELUS Health support team through the support chat for more information.

If you have Analytics, you can use the Logins dashboard to access similar information. You can also request user activity and access logs for a specific user.

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Settings > Security.

  2. Under Request Login History, type the Receiving Email you want the login log sent to. This does not need to be your own email address.

  3. In the File Password field, type a unique password that is required to open the zipped file.

  4. Click Request. The login log is sent to the provided email address; depending on the file size this may take a few minutes.

  5. The individual who requires the log can access it via their email provider.
